Day 1 HANOIArrive in Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day free.Day 2 HALONG (B,L)
Today travel east to the spectacular scenery Halong Bay. Cruising among the limestone islands that rise out of the sea, many with caves, grottoes and tiny beaches. Enjoy a superb seafood lunch before returning to Hanoi. Day 3 HANOI (B)
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Quarter, including the mausoleum, museum, and the house dedicated to the “father” of modern Vietnam, One Pillar Pagoda and the 11th century Temple of Literature. Afternoon see the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and taking a Cyclo tour in the old quarter. This evening enjoy the unique traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.Day 4 HANOI – HUE (B)
Flight to Hue on Vietnam’s central coast. This afternoon board a traditional long tailed dragon boat and head up the Perfume River to visit the splendid Thien Mu Pagoda and Monastery. Then the magnificent Citadel, former home to the emperors. In the afternoon drive out of the city to visit the exquisitely designed Tombs of Nguyen's Emperors.Day 5 HUE - HOI AN (B)
Today head south through beautiful rural and coastal scenery to the Cham Museum in Danang, housing a unique collection of the Cham's Hindu style sculpture. Continue to the Marble Mountains exploring numerous caves and Buddhist shrines. Finally arrive in the enchanting Hoi An. This evening at leisure wander through the narrow streets of this charming ancient town.Day 6 HOI AN (B)
Take a walking tour of this historic town following narrow lanes with centuries old buildings influenced by Chinese, Japanese & European architecture, a Chinese Communal House and see the 17th century Japanese Bridge, a local house with exquisite architecture. In the afternoon drive to the outskirts of HoiAn and learn how to cultivate vegetables. Chance for you to hoe the land, level the soil, carry water buckets on your shoulders, grow or harvest the vegetables!Day 7 HOI AN – NHA TRANG (B)
Today flight to Nha Trang, a beautiful coastal city by exotic Nha Trang Bay. Time for relaxation and rest. Options to take an Islands tour and having a dive are available.Day 8 -10 NHATRANG (B)

Fly south to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam’s biggest and most exciting city. Travel outskirt of Saigon to the famous Vietcong tunnels at Cu Chi. This incredible system, covering nearly 250km, was shelter to over 16,000 communist guerillas during the war. Return to Saigon in the late afternoon and take a walking tour of Saigon, visiting many famous and historic landmarks including the theatre, Rex Hotel, the Town Hall, and the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Presidential Palace.Day 12 MEKONG DELTA (B,D)
Today full day travel to the “ricebowl” of Vietnam - the incredibly lush Mekong Delta. 1.5 hours drive south of Saigon to My Tho. Ride a longboat through a floating market. Experience the vibrant market life in this incredibly industrious part of Vietnam. Sample local specialties, including “Elephant Ear Fish”. Late afternoon return to Saigon for our final evening in Vietnam. Dinner on board cruising on Saigon River.
Day 13 SAIGON – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel. At leisure until transfer to airport for your onward flight.
